SOLUTIONS

|
Bulbs flicking during operation
|
- Disconnect all the
connectors. Clean all connectors with alcohol. Wait more than 5 minutes
to reset ballast micro-processer, then reconnect the connectors.
- Inspect all the connections
between ballast and vechicle wire harness.
- Inspect all the connections
between igniter module and HID bulb modules.
- Inspect the fuses. Use at
least 25 Amp fuse if both lights share the same fuse; Use at least 15
Amp fuse for each light if lights use separate fuses.
- Determine if additional
high-power relay wirings are required to provide sufficient power to the
HID systems.
- Do not loss mating or mis-wiring connections.

|
HID Bulb Modules won't fit
|
- Inspect if you bought the
appropriate bulb type for your vehicle. Select your vehicle make on the
top left corner to display the bulb type for your vehicle.
- Some vehicles require
adaptors. Please contact us for information.
|
|
Headlights won't turn on.
|
- Wait at least 5 minutes to
reset the ballast micro-processer.
- Inspect the car battery.
- Inspect all connections
between the bulb, ballast, & igniter.
- Inspect the vehicle battery
terminal.
- Determine if additional
high-power relay wirings are required to provide sufficient power to the
HID systems.
- Inspect the fuses. Use at
least 25 Amp fuse if both lights share the same fuse; Use at least 15
Amp fuse for each light if lights use separate fuses.
|
|
Only ONE light works, although both lights are installed.
|
- Inspect all connections
between the bulb, ballast, & igniter.
- Inspect the bulb that does
not work.
- Inspect the fuses. Use at
least 25 Amp fuse if both lights share the same fuse; Use at least 15
Amp fuse for each light if lights use separate fuses.
- Switch the failing bulb
module to the working one to see if the problem remains. If the failing
light now works, the bulb may be failed. If the problem still persists,
the Ballast and/or Igniter may be malfunctioned.
- Determine if additional
high-power relay wirings are required to provide sufficient power to the
HID systems.
- To check the Ballast and
Igniter, switch it to the working side of the vehicle. If the problem
still persists, the Ballast and/or Igniter is
malfunctioned. If HID system works properly, your vehicle connections,
battery, alternator, etc. may have problems.

|
Headlights flash inconsistently.
|
- Turn on the vehicle before
turning on the lights.
- Inspect that the battery has
at least 12 Volts. Operating in insufficient power will damage the
ballasts and VOID the warranty.
- Determine if additional
high-power relay wirings are required to provide sufficient power to the
HID systems.
|
|
One light is brighter than the other.
|
- Inspect for damage in the
light housing.
- Clean the lens of the light.
- Inspect the positioning of
lights to ensure both are at the same angle to the road.
|
|
Problems with lights when driving.
|
- If the lights turn off while
driving, safely pull over at once. Inspect the ballast mounting
locations. It must be mounted as far from any high temperature area e.g.
engine because high temperature can cause the ballast to turn off
temporarily for safety. The ballast will turn on again when the
temperature drops sufficiently.
- If the lights vibrate while
driving, ensure that the bulbs are securely installed in the light
housing socket.
- Determine if additional
high-power relay wirings are required to provide sufficient power to the
HID systems.
|
|
One or both light can't ignite initially. Bulb turns off after
the vehicle just starts.
|
- You MUST DISABLE Daytime
Running Light or "Auto Switch-On" functions before the HID installation,
please click
here for more information. HID system requires a steady level of
battery voltage of at least 12V initially. "Auto
Switch-On" and Daytime Running Light functions draws power
from the vehicle battery which causes the HID system to fail to
initially ignite.
- If you have Daytime Running
Light, disable the Daytime Running Lights immediately to prevent damages
to the HID systems. Please contact your vehicle dealer or manufacturer
for more information.
- HID systems may not operate
properly with "Auto Switch-On" Headlight function. If you have
"Auto Switch-On" Headlight function, ensure to switch the
function to "Manual Switch-On" headlight mode.
- To avoid further damages,
always remember to start your vehicle before turn on the HID system.
- Determine if additional
high-power relay wirings are required to provide sufficient power to the
HID systems.

On-board
computer displays light failure warnings when the HID lights are turned on.
|
·
Purchase the "Disable On-board computer warning
feature" option with the HID system.
·
Inspect for electrical current instability. Install
additional wire relay if necessary.
